Job Summary

The Pastry Cook plays a key role in bringing our donuts to life every day. You’ll learn every part of the production process — dough mixing, cutting, proofing, frying, decorating, and prep. This is a hands‑on, fast‑paced role where attention to detail, teamwork, and consistency matter.

No pastry experience? No problem. We’ll teach you everything you need to know.

Key Responsibilities:

Mix dough and prepare large‑batch recipes.
Cut, proof, and fry dough to Salty standards.
Decorate donuts and pastry items with precision and creativity.
Follow daily production schedules and prep lists.
Maintain product quality through visual checks and tastings.
Communicate with the Pastry Chef, Sous Chef, and Kitchen Leads throughout the shift.
Ensure cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and tools.
Complete cleaning checklists and follow food‑safety procedures.
Support the team with additional BOH tasks as needed.

About You:

Previous kitchen experience , minimum 6 months- 1year.
Strong attention to detail and pride in your work.
Friendly, positive, team‑oriented attitude.
Curious, eager to learn, and open to feedback.
Able to multitask and stay organized in a fast‑paced environment.
Comfortable with repetitive and physically demanding tasks.
Reliable transportation and excellent punctuality.
Able to stand for long periods (up to 10 hours).
Able to bend, reach, stoop, and lift up to 50 lbs.
Able to read and communicate in English.
