Pastry Sous Chef – The Salty

The Role:
As a Pastry Sous Chef, you'll partner with our Executive Pastry Chef to lead the day-to-day operation of the kitchen — overseeing every discipline from dough mixing and frying to decoration and prep. You'll bring your experience to the table from day one, setting the standard for product quality, training and developing the team, and keeping production running smoothly and on schedule. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who knows their craft and is ready to help take a growing brand to the next level.

What We're Looking For:
  • Proven experience in a Pastry Sous Chef or similar kitchen leadership role.
  • Deep knowledge of pastry production and the ability to work across all kitchen disciplines.
  • A natural leader who leads by example and brings out the best in their team.
  • Strong attention to detail and a high standard for product quality and consistency.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with both BOH and FOH teams.
  • Reliable, punctual, and flexible — early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Comfortable on your feet for long shifts and able to lift up to 30 lbs.
