Senior Facilities Manager — The Salty Donut
Build the backbone of a fast‑growing, chef‑driven brand.
The Salty Donut is expanding fast — new markets, new cafés, new equipment, new challenges. We’re looking for a Senior Facilities Manager who can own our facilities function end‑to‑end and keep our shops running smoothly, safely, and beautifully.
If you love solving problems, building systems, managing vendors, and keeping high‑volume restaurants operating at their best, this role is for you.
What You’ll Do:
- Oversee all facilities operations, maintenance, and repairs across multiple Salty Donut locations.
- Build and manage a Preventive Maintenance Program for all major restaurant equipment (ovens, fryers, mixers, refrigeration, HVAC, espresso machines, etc.)
- Create and maintain a company‑wide asset tagging system and equipment database (serial numbers, warranties, service history, lifecycle tracking).
- Lead vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and manage SLAs for HVAC, refrigeration, waste, grease traps, sanitation, pest control, landscaping, and more.
- Respond to urgent repair needs and coordinate fast, cost‑effective solutions.
- Ensure all stores meet safety, sanitation, and regulatory standards.
- Manage business license renewals, inspections, and compliance across multiple markets.
- Support new store openings with equipment setup, punch‑lists, and facility readiness.
- Partner with Operations, Store Leaders, Construction, and Finance on budgets, capital planning, and long‑term facility needs.
- Oversee shipping, receiving, and distribution of branded merchandise.
What You Bring:
- 5–7+ years of facilities or maintenance management (restaurant or hospitality strongly preferred).
- Experience managing multi‑unit or multi‑market facilities.
- Strong technical knowledge of restaurant equipment and building systems.
- Proven vendor management and contract negotiation skills.
- Highly organized with strong project management abilities.
- Ability to travel regularly to store locations.
- Calm, solutions‑oriented leadership style.
